Heli-Hire Limited is situated in Ngongotaha, on the North-Western shore of Lake Rotorua in the North Island of New Zealand. We offer a vast range of services including Flight Training, Frost Protection and Fire Control, all with a well maintained and modern fleet. Our staff pride themselves on their professional approach and high standard of training.

Our location offers some spectacular scenery within a volcanic plateau, and for training, the benefit of learning within controlled and uncontrolled airspace.

For student pilots, we can offer limited accommodation onsite at no cost to the student. We are now also offering the opportunity to obtain your first turbine rating FREE in our Hughes 500C Helicopter if you complete all of your training with us. (Combined value over $ 11000).

The Heli-Hire Limited fleet comprises of a piston engine Robinson R22 Beta II, a Robinson R22 Beta which has recently been added to the fleet and which is anticipated to be coming online late July 2009, both primarily used for training. Heli-Hire Limited also has a turbine engine Hughes 500C, primarily used for Agricultural Operations, Private Charter, Frost Protection, Fire Fighting and Heavy Lifting work.

Our operations are based out of Ngongotaha, Rotorua. However, regardless of where in New Zealand you are situated, Heli-Hire Limited can quote any service in any part of the country. We can provide the Helicopter, Pilot and Ground Crew if required, for any operation.
