We have our own company frequency and are able to supply a hand-held radio to a member of your team, so they can maintain two-way communication with the helicopter pilots.
- The Robinson R44 Raven II is a light helicopter which is capable of keeping frosts at bay on an orchard up to approximately 5 Hectares.
- The Hughes 500D is a medium sized helicopter and is suitable for keeping frosts at bay on an orchard up to approximately 12 Hectares.
- The AS350B2 is a large sized helicopter and is suitable for keeping frosts at bay on an orchard up to approximately 20 hectares.
Regardless of where in New Zealand your orchard is situated, Heli-Hire Limited can quote this service at any time of the year. We can provide the Helicopter, Pilot and Ground Crew if required, for all Frost Control operations.
